Location.Club Albufeira is a complex of traditional Portuguese style apartments and villas, situated 1.5 kilometres from Albufeira city centre. Faro International Airport is 35 kilometres away, and takes around 30 minutes to reach by car.
Hotel Features.Club Albufeira has three swimming pools, each with a separate pool for children, and two spa tubs. Multilingual staff on the 24 hour front desk can arrange airport transport (surcharge) and book tickets to local attractions, including theme parks, water parks and zoos. A complimentary shuttle bus runs approximately four times a day to Albufeira Old Town and the beaches.
Guests of Club Albufeira can enjoy a selection of international dishes at O Pavilhao Restaurant, located beside the pool. A Pergola and A Cascata poolside bars also serve light meals and snacks, as well as a choice of refreshing drinks and cocktails.
Guestrooms. The 360 villas and apartments all extend to balconies or terraces with views of the gardens. Amenities include sitting areas, satellite television, sofabeds, safes and hair dryers. Kitchens have cookers, ovens, microwaves, refrigerators, freezers, cookware and dishes.
Expert Tip. Albufeira old town is 1.5 kilometres from the hotel, a short complimentary bus drive from the complex. Once the sun sets the city centre comes alive with bars, restaurants and shops to suit most tastes from authentic Portuguese fare to Irish pubs and sports bars. Local culinary specialities include Cataplana (steamed shellfish), Caldeirada (fish stew), and grilled sardines.

Getting there. The resort can arrange transport to and from the airport (surcharge). Taxis can be caught from outside the terminal building; typical fares to Albufeira are 35 45 EUR. Buses can also be caught outside the terminal building. AEROBUS provides a shuttle service between the airport and Faro city centre daily (except Tuesday) in high season. A complimentary shuttle bus runs regularly from the resort into Albufeira Old Town, which can be explored on foot or by bicycle. A hire car is recommended for travelling further afield.
