The Mac Garonda is a modern five storey beachfront hotel located right on Playa de Palma Beach overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, nine kilometres from Palma city centre. The 124 air conditioned guestrooms have light interiors with oak furnishings and open onto furnished balconies overlooking gardens or the sea. All include coffee/tea makers, minibars, hair dryers and satellite television, and safes are available for a surcharge. The half board room rate incorporates buffet breakfast and dinner each day.
Guests can spend the day sunbathing on the terrace by the outdoor pool while children enjoy the splash pool, and indoors there is a television lounge and an Internet kiosk for those wishing to catch up on the latest news. The restaurant serves Mediterranean and international dishes from an open buffet, and in the evenings guests can socialise over drinks in the bar, play a game of pool, and enjoy live music each night. Practical amenities include a 24 hour front desk, currency exchange, laundry services and a meeting room. Guests can enjoy sun and sea on the beach in front of the hotel and the Yacht Club is 200 metres away while the shops, restaurants and ancient sights of Palma are nine kilometres away; buses to the island's capital depart from the stop 10 metres from the hotel every 10 minutes. Palma de Mallorca Airport is three kilometres and a 10 minute drive away.

Taxis leave from outside Door D on the Arrivals floor and will cost around 15 EUR to the hotel. Bus no. 17 leaves the airport every 20 minutes running to Paseo Mallorca in central Palma de Mallorca. There is a bus stop in front of the multi storey car park, outside Door D of the Arrivals floor, and there is a bus stop outside the Check in floor. The area surrounding the hotel and the beach can be accessed on foot although a hire car is useful for exploring the island. Buses to Palma leave every 10 minutes from the bus stop 10 metres from the hotel and cost around 1.50 EUR.
