Set on 250 acres of rolling manicured greens, shaded fairways and towering trees 30 miles west of Chicago in historic St. Charles, Ill., the Pheasant Run Resort & Spa is a golf and entertainment retreat. Two miles away, downtown St. Charles offers a number of antique shops and specialty boutiques.
The Pheasant Run Resort boasts an on site par 71, 18 hole golf course and pro shop, and an adjacent 18 hole course at Prairie Landing, designed by Robert Trent Jones. Also available at the resort are three lighted tennis courts, fitness center, three pools, two theaters and a day spa.
Guests can wine and dine at one of the resort's six restaurants, cafes and bars, choosing between terrace dining, fine cuisine, lighter American fare or live entertainment. In addition to the Pheasant Run's golfing and sports activities, the Kids Klub offers supervised childcare on weekends, and the Mario Tricoci Hair Salon and Day Spa features 200 treatments such as massage therapy and body treatments. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available throughout the resort.
The Pheasant Run Resort & Spa is also a premier meeting and conference destination, with more than 100,000 square feet of meeting and exhibit space. Located between two airport hubs, Chicago O'Hare and Chicago Midway, the plentiful accommodations and recreational opportunities make an ideal spot for corporate and social gatherings alike.
Housed in the 16 story tower, two story golf wing or two story courtyard wing, visitors can enjoy tasteful contemporary furnishings, with two poster beds, lounge chairs, soft lighting, work desks and ergonomic chairs, and wireless high speed Internet access. Guestrooms afford views of the golf course, pool or pond. A one time, per room resort fee of $5 covers utilities, local calls up to a half hour, cable channel HBO, and bottled water (fee subject to change).
